No, it is not the "greenies". It is primarily the agricultural lobby, in concert with the petroleum fuel lobby.
They're not mine. I have no use for farm subsidies or anyone else getting paid to not work. Welfare is welfare whether it's socialist do nothing's getting paid a few hundred a month plus food and housing or corporations getting paid millions do nothing every year. They're all pretty much worthless. One group is just getting paid more to do nothing the the other do nothings, don't you agree!!!
