" The evil men do lives on after them.
The good is oft interred with their bones..."

Also for anyone interested in truth as opposed to b.s. and insults from Stephanie's teacher pet, just google iceland, electricity, aluminum smelters and you will see sticking a pipe in the ground is just more sam b.s.
AAAWWW Shermmy, you say the nicest things about me when you really get pissed.
I sorry ya didn’t know what I mean when I said ….“Ya just punch a couple pipes into the ground” …. but I guess you figured it out after you did yer Googling.
Iceland attracts aluminium companies due to its abundance of clean renewable electricity – as aluminium smelting is extremely energy intensive, and the companies are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprints.
However, the energy production often comes at a high cost to nature, as rivers are dammed or geothermal boreholes are drilled. One such dam, Karahnjukar, is the biggest in Europe and was constructed solely to power the Alcoa smelter in eastern Iceland which opened last year.

YUP, Shermmy, you and Ziggy would be right out there protesting the building of those dams and the drilling of those bore holes ....... claiming they were endangering the bleak, stark white environment that everyone likes to look at.
One country that's ahead of the curve is Iceland. This island in the North Atlantic is the only industrial country in the world that burns practically no fossil fuels to generate electricity or to heat homes and buildings. That's because it has abundant supplies of renewable energy. In fact, Iceland has so much cheap and clean electricity, it's encouraging heavy industry to ship raw materials halfway around the world for processing on this island. Iceland says that could reduce the pollution that contributes to global warming.
All Icelanders have to do is drill and capture blistering-hot steam as it shoots up from underground.
