Preston County User Fee

Post by Keli on Tue Jan 15, 2008 10:55 am

WHEREAS, Preston County provides the citizens of Morgantown, Monongalia County with the crystal clear waters of Decker’s Creek
and the Cheat River--and cool mountain breezes for their free use;
and,

WHEREAS, Preston County’s majestic mountains provide the citizens of Morgantown, Monongalia County with shade from the rising
sun--greatly reducing their air conditioning bills in the summer! And, those same mountains selflessly absorb dangerous and cancer causing Global Warming UV
rays; and,

WHEREAS, Preston County provides the citizens of Morgantown, Monongalia County with access to I-68 and the shortcut through the
Cumberland mountains to all points east; and,

WHEREAS, Preston County provides the citizens of Morgantown, Monongalia County with a low taxed bedroom for many of its best
employees; and,

WHEREAS, Preston County provides the citizens of Morgantown, Monongalia County with a convenient source of buckwheat cakes, ginseng
and ramps, and,

WHEREAS, the good people of the free state of Preston County have had to put up with the moronic city and county planning of Morgantown, Monongalia County;

I petition the Preston County Commission to place on this year’s primary ballot a resolution to charge all citizens of Monongalia County with a user fee of $2.00 a week (two dollars a week) for these benefits and benevolences.

The good citizens of Tennessee, Kentucky and western Virginia will be quite surprised to learn that their precious Cumberland Mountains have been moved to northern West Virginia.

Listen, if they can claim one another's rights to river water, then we can claim their precious Cumberland Mountains. (However, I meant the I-68 gap TO Cumberland, Maryland.)

Sorry about that, TH, ....... but your stated "Cumberland Mountains" has already been "stored away" in Ziggy brain and it is an impossibility for it to ever be changed, modified or deleted.

Therefore you will have to ignore his "reminder" of said for years n' years to come.

Like just about everytime you "post" something he disagrees with and/or if you ever accuse him of being "wrong" about anything.

lol! lol! lol! lol!
