Former players connect Pruett with NCAA infractions

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Damning statements by two of his former players and one of his former assistants suggest Bob Pruett not only knew about but also participated in NCAA infractions that occurred at Marshall during his nine-year tenure as head coach.
In sworn affidavits connected to an ongoing lawsuit, former linebackers Sam Goines and Charlie Tynes as well as former strength and conditioning coach Mike Jenkins outlined Pruett's role in the scandalous activities that rocked the Thundering Herd football program with NCAA sanctions.
