I like Pawlenty/Palin, but I would vote for Palin/Pawlenty as well, and I did NOT vote for John McCain. That would be at least one vote gained by having actual conservatives at both Pres and Vice-Pres slots.

I would be especially pleased if one or both of them would say that they are not ashamed of being conservatives or Republicans and that their opponents will have to run against THEM rather against the ghost of George W Bush.

I don't know if they can beat the race card, which has already been pulled out and used against all who disagree with Obama.

Aaron,

I think the race card has played against spineless Republicans. If anyone is willing to take the fight to the race-baiting creeps, they will be exposed for who they really are.

If Palin/Pawlenty (or vice versa) are willing to stand up and say that one doesn't need to be socialist not to be a racist, and just keep repeating that everytime some liberal repeats that claptrap, I see no reason why Obama needs a second term just because of liberal guilt or race baiting behavior.

The only way to beat the race card is to take the fight directly to the race baiters. The only thing that gives anyone who uses race as a weapon is the unwillingness to challenge them.

Any ticket with Palin is doomed to failure.

Just sayin'.

The fact that she walked away from her duties to make $$$$$ is obvious to most people.
