I will hold my breath waiting for the outrage from the usual howlers on here who say the big money bandits dont run this state including the republican party lock stock and barrel and maybe lock and stock of the Democrat party.

But we still got the barrel... Mad

Is labor and the union part of the big money bandits because they own a good portion of the democratic party?

I now wish I had saved all of those letters I received from Rep. Capito in response to asking for her support of one bill and opposition to another, Sherm. You'd discover pdq just how conservative she isn't. She's a neocon and so isn't Manchin.

IMHO they deserve each other and apparently the citizens of WV deserve them as well. After all, they keep getting elected.

DuPont operated this zinc smelter from 1928 to 1950. They were named as the defendant in this class action suit because of all the historic owners of the smelter, they had, by far, the deepest pockets. So with regard to your antagonistic question about big money running the state, may I presume you meant the trial lawyers?

I don't have any reason to defend DuPont although I've always heard they were good people to work for. Would it be better for everybody, given the C8 controversy in Lubeck, if DuPont just packed up and moved on back to Delaware?

Stephanie, ....... conservative, ...... neocon, ...... makes no difference in WV.

Capito is the incumbent.

And in WV, it takes an "act of God" to unseat the incumbent.

I see in Kabler's article this morning that the Rockefeller circle is backing Capito also.

Making Rockefeller's endorsement of Anne Barth pretty much moot.

He does not name names, but one can only surmise he is referring to the South Hills gang and the few hoi poloi scattered elsewhere around the state.

The would-be beautiful people, if we had any in the wild and wonderful.

Anyhow, I hate to leave good company but I gotta take a load to Boston.

Y'all have a good week... Very Happy

No, but they know that DuPont is a good employer.
