Is Ron Paul a Libertarian--or not? Is the Libertarian Party a separate party--or not?

Well Terri you are probably the best wordsmith on here so what is your considered opinion.?

I would say yes he is at least a semi-Libertarian.

The major exception I can think of is the abortion issue, where he is pro-life and Libertarians are pro-Abortion.

And for the second part you can be a libertarian without belonging to the Libertarian Party per se.

Just like you can be a little d democrat without belonging to the big D Democrat Party.

But to answer the question, yes there is a Libertarian Party.

And may God use you His servant as an instrument of His Love throughout the year.

So Thompson is your guy now?

Whatever happened to Duncan Hunter?

Ron Paul is a Republican. There is a Libertarian Party.

Paul opposes abortion and he favors securing our borders and ports and controlling immigration. These are two key issues where he parts ways with the Libertarian Party.

Dr. Paul favors reducing the size of government, lowering taxes, and fiscal responsibility. These are all stances the GOP has traditionally taken.

Barry Goldwater was a Republican. President Taft was a Republican. Ron Paul and I are Republicans.

You know there is a group with a website I learned a lot from called Jews Not Zionists. If I had the know how I'd start one called Republicans Not Neocons.

Happy New Year to you too, Keli!
