Romans 8:28
Matthew Henry, a preacher of long ago, was robbed. Yet he found the grace to give thanks about his situation. He said, I give thanks that I have never been robbed before; that although he took my wallet, he did not take my life; that although he took everything, it was not much; and finally, that it was I who was robbed and not I who robbed.

Re: Romans 8:28
That is a fantastic story, Terry, thanks! I once asked a friend in West Virginia what she thought of Romans 8:28 about "All" things working together for the good of those who love the Lord. I asked her if that really meant, say, getting stuck in a traffic jam or getting a paper cut. She said that the Bible does say "all" things. Right now I am nursing a thorn sliver in my hand. If it's working together for my good, and I believe that it is, I should feel better I reckon.....
