The Newspaper of Record Trashes Marcellus Shale

Naysayers from the New York Times pooh-pooh the energy revolution that is the Marcellus Shale.

I believe NY State legislated a ban on all Marcellus Shale drilling Permits.

It makes one wonder "who n' how" lobbied the Democrats in Albany to get that Law passed?

As you can see it appears 80% of the Southern Tier is sitting atop the Marcellus.

ps: there is an imaginary line, .... like the Mason-Dixon Line, ....... that runs east to west across NY State, pretty much denoted by I-90, that separates the State into the Norther Tier and Southern Tier.

Do city delegates to the state legislature dominate the state of NY Sam as they do in national offices?

The Finger Lakes supply much of CNY with drinking water.

That is the reason for the ban.
