Sex-selective Abortions

To the Editor:

The House on May 31st rejected a Republican bill that would impose fines and prison terms on doctors who perform abortions for the sole purpose of controlling the gender of the child, a practice known as sex-selective abortion. In the vast majority of these cases, boys are favored and girls are aborted. (Since Democrats don't oppose sex-selective abortions, they won’t evidently oppose abortions based on the sexual orientation of the fetus either. Right?)

In a statement to the Huffington Post, Planned Parenthood admitted they will not deny women abortions for any reason, including sex-selection abortions. (I am confused. If the fetus isn't a baby human--just a blob of flesh, how can it have gender?)

Democrats could have passed this ban. President Obama stated that he would have vetoed the ban, if it had passed. Didn't "pro-life and pro-family" Democrat Senator Joe Manchin vote to fund Planned Parenthood? With friends like these kind of Democrats, the unborn don't need enemies. Well, so much for which party is waging a war on women....and the unborn.

Abortion stops the beating heart of an unborn boy or girl. It is murder.

Ps 127:3 is a phenomenal verse, as are they all, Terry.

The Democratic love for abortion is simultaneously horrifying and comedic. Worldwide, the number one reason for abortion is the female gender of the baby. Domestically, abortion hits the poor and African Americans at much greater rates than the wealthy and the white. So, we see a horrific situation in which the unborn female, minority, and poor are being killed in the womb, each group being Democratic identifiers.
