Consensus Cools Off Empty Re: Consensus Cools Off

Rather than blame man-made activity for weather change on the planet, scientists have recently begun looking at solar activity as a predictor of world climate. Data available has revealed that low solar activity has been connected with cold eras in human history, while the opposite has occurred during higher solar activity such as what happened during the recent period form the 1950s to the 1990s.
I can attest to that fact, ..... that wintertime in WV was cold, snowy and freezing up until bout 1955-56 because us kids could go sleighriding just about anytime we wanted to from Dec to Feb. The ice and snow would lay on the ground for weeks at a time.

And as the climate warmed up thru the early 60's, no more sleighriding except on rare occasions. But then I moved to upstate NY and "bam", it was sub-zero temperatures for weeks at a time and 1' to 4' snowfalls on a regular basis which never melted off until late Mar and April.

But it warmed up, ..... up there, .... post-1980, and those extended sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfalls now only occur infrequently.

Those times, ..... they were a changing.

But me think those times are getting set to change back ..... because all the recent "signs" are indicating that reversal has been set into motion.
