Benefit for Baxter

My friend Kay's son suffered a severed spine as the result of a 5 story fall in Thailand about a week and a half ago. Kay owns O'Kay's on the corner of Lee St & Leon Sullivan Way in downtown Charleston.

Kay is in Bangkok at her son's side and her family & staff is holding a benefit to raise money to help offset Baxter's medical expenses on Friday beginning at 5pm and continuing until closing. Appetizers will be served and various local bands including Buckstone & the Carpenter Ants will be performing.

I'll be there for at least part of the evening. I hope some of you will consider joining me. Baxter is a terrific young man from a wonderful family. This is heartbreaking to everyone who knows them. They are seeking a minimum $10 donation.
