Good for them because it's a myth. It is possible to capture a good deal of the carbon dioxide, but you also have to count into the use of coal, mining it and transporting it. Additionally, there are a number of questions about carbon capture that need further study. Further the burning of coal releases sulfates and mercury, which ahs tob e dealt with.
This isn't to say that we should immediately quit burning coal, but it is to say that the use of coal is dirty and little is going to change that.
