VP candidate hasn't expressed views on 'pray away the gay' movement

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Gov. Sarah Palin's church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

"You'll be encouraged by the power of God's love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality," according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child.

What's unusual about conversion? Anne Heche, the former Mrs. Ellen Degeneretts, was converted from lesbian to straight--after making just one movie with Harrison Ford!! (No one is born homosexual, a thief or a pedophile. Homosexual is what a person DOES--not what a person IS.) And, what about a so-called "Bi"--they switch from AC to DC on a whim.

Sarah's church wants to try to cure homosexuals. Obama's church wants to damn America. MSNBC, I wouldn't go there...

And you know he is insincere how?

You can believe something without forcing it on everyone else. At least most non-religious can. Heck, even some self-professed religious folks manage to mind their own business.

Why should you care?

So you have a church in Alaska which believes that gays can be converted. Is there any indication that they have sought public funding for this? If Obama believes that marriage is between a man and a woman, I don't see how that view is any more tolerant in liberal dogma than the view that gays can become straights.

Obama's personal, moral opinions on the matter would matter less if his minions weren't trying to argue against a vote for McCain/Palin based on Palin's personal, moral opinions, and those of her church. Obama needs to avoid getting into a "church chat."

You didn't answer the question and I'm not the one condemning a whole group as "sinful" and "wrong".

Because you want to use the government to make us all adhere to your beliefs.

If you could, you would try and legislate homosexuality out of existence.
