Well I think it is disingenius for McCain to posture for the press and pretend to be Mr. Nice guy when he is sending Palin out to spread these atrocious rightwing accusations and even running some of it in his tv ads.

I understand the frustration as he sees the election slipping away.

But he has come a long way from the old McCain of 2000. imo.

I really thought he was above that stuff.

As I watched some of those clips play on TV late last night, I felt sorry for the guy. What appear to be "his own people" are trying to prod him toward reckless abandon of his mostly kindly mannerisms.

Desperate people do desperate things.

The nerve of John McCain. The man should be tarred and feathered and ran out of town on a rail.

At a rally in Minnesota on Friday, a woman told McCain: "I don't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's an Arab."

McCain shook his head and said, "No ma'am, no ma'am. He's a decent family man...[a] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues. That's what this campaign is all about."

One man at the rally said he was "scared of an Obama presidency." McCain later told the man he should not fear Obama.

"I want to be president of the United States, and I don't want Obama to be," he said. "But I have to tell you, I have to tell you, he is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared as President of the United States."

I personally believe "a vote for Obama" will be "a vote for Soviet Style Socialism".

The public is in a "feeding frenzy" on all of Obama's promises of reduced taxes and increased spending for everyone earning less that $250K/year.

HORSEPUCKY, if elected, the Democrats will pass massive tax increase legislation ...... and Obama will sign every one of them. And that is because he will owe one hell of a bill for "election paybacks".

I'm here to tell you, ..... it will be one hell of a lot less painful on the productive working taxpayig citizens, ..... and much easier, ........ to prevent Obama from getting elected .... than it will be to get him removed from the White House after he is elected.

You had better be ...... "Reading His Lips" now, ........ to what he is actually telling you ....... because his promises of "No New Taxes" ...... we have all heard before.
