Unexpected Urgent Refugee and Migration Needs
Related To Gaza

Memorandum for the Secretary of State

By the authority vested in me by the Constitution and
the laws of the United States, including section
2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of
1962 (the ``Act''), as amended (22 U.S.C. 2601), I
hereby determine, pursuant to section 2(c)(1) of the
Act, that it is important to the national interest to
furnish assistance under the Act in an amount not to
exceed $20.3 million from the United States Emergency
Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose
of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration
needs, including by contributions to international,
governmental, and nongovernmental organizations and
payment of administrative expenses of Bureau of
Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department
of State, related to humanitarian needs of Palestinian
refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.

You are authorized and directed to publish this
memorandum in the Federal Register.

We supplied the bullets & bombs that destroyed their home. Now we're going to pay to rebuild it, all the while supplying Israel with more bombs and bullets so they can murder more Palestinians and destroy the new roads and buildings so we can pay to rebuild them yet again.

Don't you just love US foreign policy? Wouldn't minding our own frigging business and not funding or arming either side make much more sense? Wouldn't that be far more humanitarian anyway?

The US has promised Israel a massive funding increase. According to the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the United States and Israel in 2007 and made public by the US Campaign, the President is expected to request $2.775 billion in military aid to Israel in FY2010.

Now that $20 million figure in that article you posted is a drop in the ole bucket. I saw this last night on Al Jazeera but anticipated the birthing of a cow or two in this forum if I used them as a source. This morning it's all over the internet, including one of my faves for headline news....Fox.

U.S. to Give $900 Million for Gaza Reconstruction

Even under ordinary circumstances this is outrageous. However, given America's economic conditions this is beyond ridiculous, stupidity, even insanity. Our government is enslaving us, the American people, and for what? So the Palestinians can survive a few more years of a miserable existance before Israel, using US money and US weaponry and US technology finally exterminates them. Simply brilliant!

So I say, not WTH, but WTF.

If our nation's official policy is going to be to bow down to the Zionist state and bless every atrocity they do then let's just get it over with. Why do things to prolong the suffering of the inmates of the largest concentration camp in the history of the world. Just let them die and be done with it.

If we have some sort of moral obligation to the victims of the abomination known as the Israeli government, then how about we stop funding and arming them?

Or how about we just mind our own frigging business for once? Now that would be refreshing.

Well now, I’ll tell ya, it really doesn’t matter to me whether it is the Jews in Israel or the Palestinians in the West Bank or Gaza Strip that raises and exports those Tilapia fish filets to the US because they sure are good eating. So if the Palestinians wanna get into the exporting business …… that is fine with me.

And they don’y hafta be “expert rocket launchers” to do it.

Six years ago, we built an enclosed, recirculating system for the grow-out of Tilapia. The system was designed to produce 100 tons per year. We raise Red Tilapia, introduced into the system at 50 grams and grown-out to a market size of 500 grams.

Currently we are exploring the possibilities of building an additional site or of expanding the production capabilities of our current site.

The Israelis won't let them. The Israelis have control of the seaports and the sea.

The question is, do you want our government borrowing another $3.7 billion or so from China, or print some more out of thin air for the Israelis and Palestinians?

The Government doesn't care what I think, be it the Federal, State, County or local.

Nor do the voters who vote for the Democrats just because they are Democrats.

Now they voted for "hope" this past election and now they are going to have to "swallow it" for at least the next 4 years.

So get use to it, ..... it ain't gonna get any better.

No shit, Sammy.

My husband and I have been discussing that lately.

We were preapproved 3 years ago for a loan we knew we couldn't afford, so we live in this tin can trying to save and prep the land to build. We thought we were being wise.

We had no way of knowing then what we know now. Our government is going to reward people for behaving in the same fashion as our government has for decades......living beyond their means.

What a couple of nimrods we are. We should have taken the freakin' money.
