Bots
Sometimes where my screen reads out who and how many are on the forum it reads that info and then says 1 bot or 2 bots, etc.
Does that mean someone is trying to hack us?

Re: Bots
It's calling search engines "bots". If you look it will tell you which bots......Google, MSN, etc
Re: Bots
I'm not entirely sure that anyone would get much from getting the info here, except that there are a couple of fringe lunatics and the rest of you are boring!

Mike, iffen you were to Google "SheikBen WV Current Events Forum", ....... you might be surprised to learn that your Google search returned a "reference" to one of your posts on this Forum.
try it and see.
Those "bots" are constantly monitoring websites and storing their "content" on their humungus mainframe storage so that when a "user" initiates a "search" ....... their CP only has to scan said "stored references" and in a split second it sends them back to the requestor.
