President Bush should resign.
Cheney would then be president.
Cheney should declare for the presidency.
The convention should be declared open.
Cheney should be the GOP nominee.
Voilą! C'est magnifique!

Hunter would then be president.
Duncan Hunter should then name Senator John Cornyn, Texas, as V-P.
