At the time, it was PC to call Bush a "moron monkey boy" even though his lineage did not contain any black African jungle ancestry.
But if someone did that today they would probably be arrested for a Hate Crime because the associated implication to our current President would immediately be recognized and all hell would erupt with dastardly comments in reprisal.
