Riffing on Palin’s trip to New York last weekend, Letterman joked Monday night that during the seventh inning of the Yankees game “her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”

Letterman followed up on the line Tuesday night, joking that “the toughest part of her visit was keeping [former New York Gov.] Eliot Spitzer away from her daughter.”

In an e-mailed statement, the Republican governor said: “Laughter incited by sexually perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is not only disgusting, but it reminds us some Hollywood/N.Y. entertainers have a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands — that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.”

Does anyone remember what happened to Don Imus for calling the Rutgers women's basketball players "nappy-headed hos"?

(CBS/AP) CBS announced Thursday that it has fired Don Imus from his radio program, following a week of uproar over the radio host's derogatory comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

"It's important that we stand with the women of Rutgers who are deeply hurt by the highly insensitive comments of Don Imus," said Marc Morial, CEO of the National Urban League.

Place a picture of the Rugters Women's basketball team up next to a picture of Willow, Bristol, and Sarah Palin and it immediately becomes evident why no outcry from the leftist media or feminist groups. The Rutgers Basketball Team is mostly black (almost assured dumocrats) and the Palins are white and conservative.

MATT LAUER: Are you suggesting that David Letterman can’t be trusted around a 14-year old girl?

SARAH PALIN: Hey, take it however you want to take it.

I wouldn't trust him a round a fourteen year old collie, either.
