My thoughts on the Swine Flu Empty My thoughts on the Swine Flu

I truly wonder how much stress and resulting health damage is caused when doctors and government officials know nothing of value, either good or bad, on a given subject, but insist on making pronouncements anyway.

Besides "you probably don't want the swine flu," which a 4th grader would realize by its very name, the media and the politicos did nothing for anyone, besides cause panic, close schools, and keep open porous borders just long enough that it became "too late" for a quarantine.

I would not trust my government, my President, or anyone in the bureaucracy to find their way out of a one-street town, let alone handle something like a pandemic.
