USSC's fault, the Dems can't now institute their Fairness Doctrine so Air America knew all hope for them was lost.

I think this shows just how extreme the leadership of the left is, because there is certainly a market for intelligent, solid, leftism, and there are plenty of people able to produce this and to listen. Many in the movement, though, that I have listened to, are just plain mean, and I am not surprised that anyone out of lockstep doesn't much care to be insulted.

Mean is an understatement. Vicious is more like it.

They really can be vicious, and it's such a shame. While I obviously reject their ideology, they really could make a case that would be intelligible and even persuasive, but they choose not to. I'm not saying that the right always purports themselves the best, either, but I'm really disappointed whenever I get my radio on WCPT in Chicago (AA's affiliate) and hear not ideas with which I disagree but rather insults directed at people with whom I do agree.
