Ayn Rand hit the nail on the head regarding ideal government in my opinion. She envisioned government as providing a defence from foreign threats to liberty, the police to protect from domestic threats liberty, and a court system where disputes were settled based on objective laws and criminals faced their accusers and were judged again based on objective law. That is her vision of the whole of government.

The only way Ayn Rand's or Mr. Spencer's vision of government can exist is that people stay out of each other's business and adopt a live and let live attitude. All one has to do to see that this isn't going to happen is look over the posts on this board.
