Well the more trivial the issue, the less damage they can do. I for one do not want Congress getting involved in Craft Beer. By the time they are done with it all of it will taste like Schlitz and cost 6 bucks a pint.

I just like starting a post with "Having solved all the nation's pressing problems..." and then referencing the National Ping Pong Week resolution or craft beer or something stranger than fiction. That's just my sense of humor...

As you know, the Feds are not interested in the Mexican Border …… because they have a more critical project that needs their immediate attention, to wit:

I think it was on Fox & Friends the other morning. I had to go and missed it. There's also a border checkpoint in Montana or somewhere they dropped a pile of stimulus money on. Maybe they're expecting a Canadian drug war to spill over into Vermont.

The stimulus was generally considered a failure overall. Why shouldn't Congress rush through another trillion before Memorial Day?

A few trillion$ here, a few trillion$ there; what's the big deal? As Sam Walton said, "it's just paper". But of course, Sam was talking about his own paper.
