Speculation is that the Senate will pass, in a whirlwind effort, a Cap and Trade Bill which will be sent to House and Senate conferees and wrapped up the last day before the long Congressional recess in August.

This will allow the members to go home, avoid town hall meetings, and start touting their legislative "accomplishments" prior to the fall elections.

It will be interesting to see what the rank and file UMW members do if our precious carpetbagger Jay votes in favor of it.
