It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats
yet they are still POOR!

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

Hi Sam,

If you look at the most liberal cities in America, you find Detroit and Cleveland up near the top of the list as well. Berkeley, California, is up there but likely due to the state university there is somewhat insulated from their own policies.

Did you read Drew Carey's interchange with the Cleveland city council? One of the members said that Carey should bring the Price is Right to Cleveland. Carey responded that Cleveland should be the kind of city that businesses want to go to in the first place, such that they don't have to ask.

Cleveland took even more of a hit when King James decided to take his talents elsewhere. The biggest reason he came to that decision is that no other mega-stars were willing to come to Cleveland so even though he's an Northeast Ohio guy-born and raised in Akron-he got out when the getting was good. I'm also sure that the tax structure of Florida vs Ohio (which is better then WV's by the way) didn't hurt his decision any either.

I think "King James" is a dolt but he certainly will be reaping a tax advantage out of his move. Cleveland needs better leaders and better role models. Now that Mr James has taken his talents to South Beach, perhaps they could send their government there, as well.

LeBron James followed Rush Limbaugh's example in escaping to a low-tax (no income tax) state...

His attention to the tax factor shows he is not a dolt Rush Limbaugh notwithstanding.
