I never thought about all the timid and/or scared "wannabe whistleblowers" that have most probably been "uploading" sensitive data to the WikiLeaks website.

WikiLeaks Ready to Release Giant 'Insurance' File if Shut Down

Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder, has circulated across the internet an encrypted “poison pill” cache of uncensored documents suspected to include files on BP and Guantanamo Bay.

One of the files identified this weekend by The Sunday Times — called the “insurance” file — has been downloaded from the WikiLeaks website by tens of thousands of supporters, from America to Australia.

Assange warns that any government that tries to curtail his activities risks triggering a new deluge of state and commercial secrets. Assange warned: “We have over a long period of time distributed encrypted backups of material we have yet to release. All we have to do is release the password to that material, and it is instantly available.”

I'm beginning to think this is an "in-house" lefty liberal socialist thingy for the purpose of inciting "civil unrest" in order to finish "breaking the back" of the US economy.

The more civil unrest there is, .... the more control of the populace the government acquires.

What I don't believe is that one Private First Class is responsible for all the American intelligence data wikileaks has in their possession. I've thought from the getgo that these leaks are coming from very far on high, perhaps as high as Pennasylvania Avenue.

Yes. I'm just not sure if it's the White House or Capitol Hill but I do not believe for one second it's a Private First Class regardless of his security level. For one thing, at the very worst, he would have made Coporal after two years based on mandated time promotions so to believe that a serviceman with less then 2 years service is revealing top intelligence and diplomatic secrets is silly.
