The trouble with politicians is they are all the same. It makes little difference is they are republican, democrat, libertarian, independent, they are all the same.

Hypocrites

Ron Paul, the supposed champion of lliberty and fiscal restraint has the dollowing in the 1,900 spending bill being pushed through congress;

So, what does Rep. Paul have in this Senate Omnibus? Would you call any of this pork?

* $1 million for the "Gulf States Consumer Education Program"
* $1.5 million for "Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training" at Texas State University
* $2 million for the "Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program" run by Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership
* $474,000 for an Army Corps of Engineers review of Freeport Harbor in Texas
* $897,000 for Army Corps work on the Matagorda Ship Channel in Texas
* $350,000 for a "Nursing Simulation Training Center" at Brazosport College in Texas
* $750,000 for a "Telehealth Resource Learning Center" at the Univ. of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston
* $1.25 million for "Port of Galveston Transit Terminal Parking" project

One needs to check the dates that a "pork item" was actually submitted by a Congressperson because a guest on one of the Fox News programs said that Senator Reid et el had loaded that "spending bill" up with bunches of OLD "pork requests" to embarrass the hell out of anyone that "got the message in November" and is now claiming n' voting "No More Pork".

And "NO", I'm not trying to cover for or protect anyone.

I'm just saying there is a damn good possibility that is EXACTLY what they done.

The ones that "survived" the election are still "fighting for their life" in anyway that they can ...... because they know there is a good possibility they will go down when Obama goes down in 2012.
