W.Va. miner pleads guilty to falsifying documents
Hasen said he did so because he was not qualified to perform the examinations or to certify that they had been performed lawfully. Prosecutors say he admitted to falsifying the documents on more than two dozen occasions.
Hasen faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced June 13.
