Secret Abortions

According to The Sunday Star-Times, statistics show that 3,950 New Zealand teens ages 11 through 19 had induced abortions in 2009. Of those, 79 were between 11 and 14 years old. Under section 38 of the Care of Children Act 2004, a female of any age can consent to an abortion. In 2004, lawmaker Judith Collins put forward an amendment to prevent girls under 16 from having an abortion without their parents' knowledge. The amendment was voted down.

Don't you think it a bit interesting that in the US a child can't take an asprin to school and the parent has to come and give the kid and over the counter medication, yet, there is a push to allow that same child to obtain an abortion without the parents knowledge.

The hypocracy of the public and of politicians stagger the imagine, in my humble opinion.

Wellllllll, ..... not really.

I think it is all part of "the grand scheme of things" to give the State (employees) total control of "raising all villages".

And in actuality, that would be more like "a push to allow the State (employees) to be the only one(s) who can give a child permission to obtain an abortion".
