He starts the press conference by saying that both sides have to give a little and then he sticks his thumb in his opponents' eyes. That should be conducive to productive negotiating. I think Marco Rubio had it about right: Obama's statements were more in line for a strong man in a liberal third world country and totally inappropriate for the President of the United States. And Rush Limbaugh is right that Obama is the least accomplished, least qualified man in every room he enters.

I think that depends heavily on who he is running against and whether the candidate is chosen by the left in crossover voting, it's someone who toes the far right party line or a whether it's someone moderates, independents and the religious right can agree on.

Stephanie was right in that Obama got a lot of votes because of the color of his skin although I don't think that's why he won. Hopefully those voters will leave him because of the lack of substance and that will be the reason he loses.

As recently as a couple months ago I was predicting his re-election. Now I'm not so sure. I'm not even so sure it makes a lot of difference who it is. I don't like Romney. I don't like Bachman. I don't like Rick Perry. I'll take any of the three of them over Obama.

Obama vilified the owners of private jets six times. Apparently, he is unaware of the effects of demagoguery on the yacht-building industry (among others). One suspects that if he wants to kill an industry, this might be his opportunity. Who knew that the outfitters of private jets were non-union?

When she isn't signing very strange "anti-porn, pro-family" manifestos, she is soaking up public spending in the form of farm and foster care subsidies and medicaid funding at her husband's "pray away the gay" rehab business - even though she publicly despises such "handouts".

The fact that this whackjob polled so close to Romney in Iowa is scary. I still don't see her being able to unseat Obama.
