$100 billion simply is gone with the wind

I had a discussion with Ziggy about wind on the old Gazette forum about 5 years ago. He made some statements about wind and I started researching the topic and much of what is in this op-ed piece is what I learned and proved Ziggy wrong then. The one thing the piece didn't mention was the difficulties in storing wind energy, which is mostly produced at night in off peak hours and while some advancements have been made, it is still an unproven technology that cost a great deal of money.
