Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind., said, to wit:
Rapid growth in the economy, not the federal government, is in order, but the Obama administration pursues policies that prevent that.
"The extremism that stifles the development of homegrown energy, or cancels a perfectly safe pipeline that would employ tens of thousands, or jacks up consumer utility bills for no improvement in either human health or world temperature, is a pro-poverty policy," Daniels said.
"Left to ourselves, we might pick the wrong health insurance, the wrong mortgage, the wrong school for our kids . . . the wrong light bulb."

So close to Indiana, and yet so far away under a bizarre and sophomoric Illinois government better suited to a grade school student council.

One in five men of prime working age, and nearly half of all persons under 30, did not go to work today.

Well Obama's economy is doing fine. He gets to travel the world, looking fabulous, while the deceived who elect him are growing more and more dependent on his largesse. I'm reminded of the leader of a movement with which I was once associated. I criticized how much this leader was deified, only to hear the response "yes, but he's worth it." Needless to say I didn't stick around long.
