Obama-Liar or politician???

I recall the debate where he said if he were the nominee, he would set down with the Republican nominee and if they could agree, both would accept federal financing.

Not only did he not meet with McCain, he didn't call and his campaign didn't attempt to contact McCain's camapaign.

Is this the type of change we can expect from BO?

"I will sit down with John McCain and make sure that we have a system that works for everybody," he said at a February 26 debate in Cleveland, a position he repeated in an April 27 interview with Fox News.
"I have promised that I will sit down with John McCain and talk about, can we preserve a public system, as long as we are taking into account third party, independent expenditures," he said.

Like it or not, one of the two is going to be the next President of the United States of America.

I don't like it and I won't vote for either one of them. I still intend to vote write in Ron Paul. I have decided I can't support Barr. I have tried and tried and tried but it can't be done. lol

I remember on the other board you gave me blazes because I said Obama was a Muslim. Whether he is or not is no longer important, because what he is, is a liar. He should fit in quite well with the pack of swine that presently occupies the Halls of Congress.

Being a liar does not make one a Muslim. Don't you know Christians invented lying at the dawn of time and have since perfected it. No one does it better or more often.

And just for the record, he is one of the members of the halls of Congress.

Being as though Jesus Christ came in the flesh 2000 years ago, I can hardly see Christians at the dawn of time inventing lying.

Unless you are making a theological point about Old Testament worshippers of God who expected that He Himself would become a man and take on the sins of the world. But then you are dealing with very few people indeed, and what record to you have of them inventing deception?

I would suspect that there was a little bit of lying being conducted throughout this affair:

King David, in his moving prayer of repentance after the murder of Uriah and adultery with Bathsheba, cries out, "Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight" (Psalm 51:4). Did he not also sin against Uriah, Bathsheba, the nation, his wives, and his children? Of course!

Actually Mike, I was referencing back to Adam lying to God. I realize that's Old Testament and long before Christ' time on earth but it wasn't meant as a theological argument. Christians do trace themselves back to Adam and the Garden of Eden if I'm not mistaken.

I trace myself back to Adam as the schmuck who brought trouble into the world, eventually leading to the reason why SheikBen is such a schmuck as well. I would not call him a Christian, but rather the reason the crucified Christ is necessary in the first place.

True but I think you understand why I said the beginning of time. Perhaps I should have said man instead of Christian.

At any rate, that is what I meant.

Lying is a very human condition. I suppose Obama is human after all! I don't suppose that many liberals will be taking down their altars, however.
