Daily Mail joined anti-wind energy movement?
Has the Charleston Daily Mail joined the radical, anti-wind energy movement?
And who said wind turbines are necessarily ecologically sound?
There have been numerous complaints about way too many birds and bats being killed by the spinning blades.
Even if the construction and maintenance costs were reduced, even if the birds-and-bats issue were solved, and even if large batteries were invented to allow storage of electricity for use when the wind dies down, there is the problem of covering mountains with turbines.

Re: Daily Mail joined anti-wind energy movement?
Well guys when/if people start getting serious about alternative energy sources, the republicans will do just like they did with Hillary's health care proposals.
We will have Harry and Louise setting around on their deck bitching about having to see that little red light blinking on the ridgetop ten miles away to mark where the windmill tower is.

You mean like Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) bitched about having inch high windmills obstructing his view off the coast of the Cape? When did Teddy switch parties?
Re: Daily Mail joined anti-wind energy movement?
Well Steph you got me there.
And likewise enviro groups in WV are opposed to wind energy.
But they wont be spending megabucks on Harry and Louise ads, they will just be writing lte's etc trying to keep their own little piece of creation free to look at.

Why would they use Harry and Louise? They'll be using Stella Luna and Paulie.
Re: Daily Mail joined anti-wind energy movement?
Harry and Louise can come out of retirement to defeat BO's unconstitutional health care proposals.
