Perhaps he should switch to the greens or independent and take up the Nader cause as he's done in the democratic party and his type is generally too stupid to realize the vast majority of America's want nothing to do with them. At least that way, he could be relevant to 2.87% of the population.

You know, I've made my feelings quite clear about John Edwards. I've also let it known what my advice to Mrs. Edwards, not that she'd ever ask.

However, I find it interesting that Elizabeth Edwards is being villified by Democrats across the nation for keeping her husband's extra-marital activities private, yet Hillary Rodham Clinton, who concealed multiple affairs and a variety of indiscretions, has been elected to the US Senate, nearly won her party's nomination for the White House, and is adored by Democrats from coast to coast. The Feminazi's would coronate her Empress if they could, but terminally ill Elizabeth Edwards with the two young children is the target of scorn.

I'll admit there have been a few times I've actually been shamed by members of my party. This sort of thing makes me awfully damn proud I've never been a Democrat.

John Edwards broke a fundamental rule of a politician. Never admit it. Ask what the definition of "is" is. No matter how much evidence there is, never stop villifying your opponents and the members of the press who are investigating.

When John Edwards (unlike Jefferson and his cash freezer or Clinton with his legal babble) came out and said that he had a "liaison," the Democrats knew that the man was finished and had become a liability rather than an asset.

I think it's unfortunate that Edwards' wife covered up for him, but as she hadn't been elected to anything, I'm not sure that criticism of her is fair. Lord knows if my wife ran around on me I would not want to be broadcasting it.
