Re: Anarchists
Aaron,
It would take overnight for that thing to load on the connection I have. I'll take your word for it. However, I would like to know what context he said that in? Was he saying he was a Libertarian or a libertarian?

You'll have to explain the difference.

"Libertarian or libertarian?" Stephanie, are you saying that it depends on what "is" is? If you are a Ron Paul supporter, does that mean you are Republican like he is?

Re: Anarchists
Let me get this straight. Ron Paul is opposed to foreign military action but is in favor of domestic violence leading to the overthrow of the USA??

Re: Anarchists
Keli: The Founders were casting off foreign control. Paul is calling for sedition and revolution against our existing government.
Ziggy: What is "foreign control"? Control by a government centered geographically somewhere else?
To the British monarchs, America was not foreign; it was owned by and was a colony of Britain in much the same way Hawaii is a state of the U.S. of A. Does Washington's power over Hawaii or Alsaka constitute "foreign control"?
Don't throw fact into the argument, Ziggy. It interferes with Keli's beliefs.

Stephanie, I saw it live (TV live) back in December. I remember that we were visiting our daughter in PA when I saw it- the interview broadcast where he explained that he was a Libertarian (or libertarian- how does one determine upper case / lower case intent from verbal political banter?) and how/why he was running for president as a Relublican.

A libertarian generally believes in reducing the size and scope of government, promoting and protecting individual liberty etc. If what you were stating is that Ron Paul is a libertarian, I'd have to agree. But that's not what I thought you meant.
What I though you meant was that Ron Paul is a Libertarian. As in, Ron Paul should be with the Libertarian Party, or that he will leave the GOP to become a Libertarian Party member. Clearly, that is not true.
Re: Anarchists
Ziggy,
Was that the interview where Bill Maher said that he is a libertarian but compared to Ron Paul he is Chairman Mao? I really thought that line was pretty funny.
