Silver lining behind every cloud, right Keli? I just hope this does not negate the need for these new power plants here in the Ohio Valley though. Course we may as well write them off if McCain wins because he wants to go nuclear anyway.

Sherm,
Come on down and see us in the Illinois Valley. We have a nuclear plant that has never had any problems and is the area's major employer. It is a domestic power source that employs people in very well paying jobs.

No thanks Mike.
I will take my chances here in the shadow of these coal fired plants...
No need to worry about a "meltdown" with coal just a little soot and other minor inconveniences...

So, you want Polar Bears to drown? Don't you know that the Earth has a fever and we need to save the planet from dirty coal and fossil fuels? Where have you been? Hiding under a rock? And, you call yourself a Democrat!

It wouldn't bother me a bit. At least then I wouldn't have to buy 3 bottles of Endust every month.

Re: Good News for Polar Bears
My glass is half full Frank and we've all got to die of something, right!!!
Besides, I'm not opposed to EVERYTHING when it comes to energy.
If I were, being that I'm NOT a hypocrite, I would have to stop using energy all together.
