This could be Pres. Bush's Finest Hour...

Well say what you will about Pres. Bush's dismal record in office, it appears he has finally parted ways with his bitterly partisan advisors and handlers.
If he had done that early on, he no doubt would have a much better legacy.
Of late, he has taken on a whole new attitude of co-operation both Internationally and with domestic political matters here at home.
It almost seems sad that he can't just turn back the clock and re-do his Presidency utilizing that new attitude.
And Republicans would be well advised to learn from Pres. Bush now as we move into uncharted waters on many fronts and discard their obstructionist and negative attitude.
But just judging from the response to that suggestion here on the forum, I would say they will cling to their old rancorous and petty strategy of obstructionism.
But I am glad for President Bush that he appears to have discovered a better way.

Every dog has his day.
Too bad this one first managed to trash the yard, chew up the furniture, crap on the good rug, and piss-off all the neighbors with his constant barking.

And here I was expecting that Bush would manufacture some crisis and suspend the election. At least that's what some guy named Sherm kept saying in his push polls over the years.

Well I doubt if you guys bothered to check the link but I thought it was complimentary to President Bush.
Too bad you guys can't be as magnanimous as President Bush and Senator McCain...

Since you're suddenly a Bush supporter I guess you can tell me who or what he's supposed to be forgiving.
And I would think that given your 4th choice (or was it 5th) winning soundly would haev you in a better mood.
