Don't worry. It's just a clip of Palin proving that she has no business in national politics. In fact, I doubt that she could pass the civics portion a GED test.
The most frightening thing is that it's almost hard to tell in some of the clips like this if it's really Palin, or just Tina Fey doing a caricature of Palin.

Late at night is the only time that cricket makes any sense at all.
Bmd, why do you suppose people are not "done" with Palin? Are they afraid that she will return, but next time not as the VP candidate but as the nation's President, a Republica female? I think Palin scares the devil out of the left. Incidentally, hers is the only state that is not in a recession or at risk of one. While the natural resources advantage is obvious, she is clearly running a healthy ship up there. Did you see THEIR economic stimulus checks?
But I digress. Palin surely looked bad in a couple of EDITED interviews (and she surely said some stupid things, ie the Alaska/Russia "foreign policy" expertise issue) but the attention still being paid to her tells me two things. 1-People expect Palin to return, given her popularity among conservatives, and 2-the media was so enthralled with getting Obama elected that they don't know what to cover now.

Re: GOP must be reeeaaallly stressed...
Well Mike are you aware that it is not us "lefties" who are leaking the damaging information about Palin.
I know you guys want to blame us, but clearly these accusations/innuendos are coming from republican insiders.
Not from us Democrats.
Now I have posted before I suspect it is Romney supporters doing it so they can knock her out of the picture.
But so far no one on the right seems to even recognize that it's the republicans doing this.
So do you recognize and acknowledge that these leaks are coming from your republicans?
And if you do what do you suppose is their motivation.-

Hi Sherm,
I said it was leftists, not Democrats. The people who worked for McCain did him wrong and they are trying to make hay by passing the buck to Palin. The fact is, watching the McCain campaign was like watching a train wreck. These creeps don't deserve to get any more political consulting work, and they are trying to pass the blame onto Palin.

Re: GOP must be reeeaaallly stressed...
Why would Romney's people be doing this? They had no part in the McCain campaign and it is well known that Romney can't stand McCain.
Now Romney/Palin is a ticket with something in it. And when every state is a Granholm-led Michigan with 7% unemployment they'll have a very easy time sweeping 2012.

Re: GOP must be reeeaaallly stressed...
It came out over the weekend that it was two mid level aids who participated in a mock debate and it wasn't that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent. It was a slip and she said Africa instead of South Africa and McCain put a stop to it on Friday.
What Sherman won’t acknowledge is that it was the left who RAN with the stories, including one site he loves to quote in The Huffington Post.

I believe it was Fox who first ran the story wasnt it?
But whether you acknowledge it or not it was I who thot it was childish and uncalled for to accuse Palin in this way with anonymous leaks.

Re: GOP must be reeeaaallly stressed...
The first time I saw it was on the Huffington Post when I clicked on one of your links. It's typical politics.
I think there are those on the right that are just as afraid of Palin as the left is and that was the reason by BOTH sides for running with the story.

Do remember that Ariana Huffington was a long time, influential republican that felt like her party abandoned her.
I'd think that some of you could relate to that...

If she makes people on the left and the right shiver, perhaps there is something behind it.

Re: GOP must be reeeaaallly stressed...
She doesn't make anyone on the left shiver.
Exactly what does she disagree with the Democrats over?
She was a liberal who figured out that the Republican party wasn't for her. I don't begrudge her that. So did Jim Jeffords. I do think that the Republicans should seek to retain actual moderates who disagree with the party on a number of issues; however, when someone rejects pretty much in whole the Republican platform, they are better off elsewhere for everyone's sakes.
So while there should well be room for small government yet socially liberal Republicans, those who would favor large spending and social liberalism should not just act like Democrats, but should actually be Democrats.

And by the way, influential my ass. She couldn't even help her husband get elected despite record spending.
