How can Obama "win over" the media? That's like asking how Al Sharpton can "win over" Jesse Jackson, or how Pol Pot could have "won over" Chairman Mao, or how Harry Reid can "win over" Nancy Pelosi.

Well I took it more as advice on how to keep and take advantage of the good will he has built with the media rather than how to win it.
