Dr. David Pilbeam (a distinguished professor of anthropology) suggested the following:
"Perhaps generations of students of human evolution, including myself, have been flailing about in the dark; that our data base is too sparse, too slippery, for it to be able to mold our theories. Rather the theories are more statements about us and ideology than about the past. Paleoanthropology reveals more about how humans view themselves than it does about how humans came about. But that is heresy."

Lies, damned lies, and preaching
Yet another example of "deception by omission" on the part of TH, and creationists in general. Tell us, Terry, did you bother to find out the context of the above quote before you latched onto to it and repeated "bearing false witness" by repeating it out of context? Careful before your answer, Terry, for according to the tenets of your superstition your god is watching you.

The Spaghetti god is watching you, as well! Why is it that everything you disagree with is a deception? You have made up your mind, so facts or other opinions are irrelevant.

Context? Context? We don't need no stinking context!!!
That's right, Terry. Ignore the context of the quote, spread the lie a little further, forget about your superstition's commandments (because they only apply to others), be a good creationist. I never expect any more out of you.

bm'd,
When you have evolved as far as I have, then you will understand me.
