Security must have left their tasers at home.
New rules from DHS...shoot on sight any non-Republicans.

It is a ridiculous department with an even more ridiculous Nazi-sounding name.
Why don't we have a centralized intelligence agency?

Have his racist quotes from the past been resolved?

What racists quotes? You find me a single video clip of him making those kinds of slurs and I'll vote for Hillary Clinton.
Digging up a newsletter published years ago under his name doesn't cut it. If those were his views at some point over the course of his 10 terms in Congress, or during one of his multitude of campaign speeches, he would have said something to indicate those are his feelings. They are not.
At most Ron Paul is guilty of not keeping close enough watch over how his name was used. He should have done that then. He obviously learned from that mistake.
Re: It's been difficult
There used to be a phrase tossed around here...
"Them with lovin' eyes".
I am just teasing. He seems like a good man, with many positions that we liberals always have had.
Heck, I'm a "blame-America-firster" too! He wants legalized drugs, gay marriage, gays in the military, etc.
And the best thing is you can always believe that things would have been different if he had only won.
Because he won't.
Who will prevent him from winning? The GOP establishment, and the voters.

Craig,
Please see the new thread for my response. I thought the American Conservative did a brilliant job of summing it all up for me.

I should have read this string before I replied in another.
The SF prevented me from considering you as a new old poster.
And please don't start that racist crap again.
But you can refresh my memory about that Pelosi job you have.

Well, Sammy, it has been a while. How're things?
I added SF to it because the fools at the Gazette never allowed me back in after the last time they upgraded. It just seemed like the contact info went to nobody, like a DanRad email would.
RE: Racism...you mean as it pertains to Ron Paul, or racism in general?
RE: Job, I don't know what you're talking about, but I bet you're still employed as a beer-swilling smoker!

Yup, and weren't you employed there by the City or some Gov agency?

Nope. We're an LLP that helps builders/developers with low-income housing.

Re: It's been difficult
Glad you found us, Craig. How are things? I hope you are well. Now, some conservative screeding.
I have escaped the north shore of Chicago, where Pelosi's evil twin Jan Schakowsky operates. I am now in a less educated, less prosperous, more beautiful town with a significantly lower crime rate per 10,000 people, even though everyone has a gun.
Maybe I'll try to bring in West Coast taxation and gun control so that the cost of living and the crime rate will rise. I miss home so I think I'll turn this town into another Evanston, like when the ACLU in New York City brings some town in Kansas into a lawsuit.

It's all good here, dawg. I loved Jan when we were in Roger's Park so it's no surprise that you don't.
Sounds like your kind of town. I assume it's all white, Christian and Republican?

It's not all white, but there are Republicans, Christians, blue collar people who you would no doubt find repulsive. Why, some of them even drink wine from a box!

OMG!!!!! From a box?????????? lmao
I've been known to do that. Well, it was something I have done and would do, but hubs won't allow it. He's such a snob.
Re: It's been difficult
Ha! Before I became a "fine wine and cheese" person I was blue collar, through and through. (Except when I taught high school.)
Well educated, but blue collar. And just 'cause you choose poverty doesn't make you a "man of the people". How many jobs have you had that required sweating? Hmmmmmmmmm?
(Heard from Brian at all?)

There was another campus shooting yesterday, this time in Illinois. If I were Michael I'd be sweating profusely.

He's safe. The shooter has to be a conservative. Liberals don't own guns.

Sure they do - they just want to deny them to other people!

That was worth at least 3 points, Jimmy!
Re: It's been difficult
Guns don't kill people, abortion clinics do. I love that saying and wish it were mine.
I am naturally saddened by the events at Northern and I think the issue there is that big universities like that one are so nameless and faceless that people in real trouble mentally are not noticed.
As opposed to small liberal schools where "mentally troubled" is the norm:)

3 points for Michael! We're going to need a score keeper if this keeps up.

But liberals are bad shots. Look how many liberals got shot and killed versus conservatives. Liberals are more the pie-in-the-face crowd.

And even deny they gave a gun to another person.
And a "hooty hoot" for Senator Jim Webb, D-VA.
