The good news just keeps coming ….. and coming …… and coming …..

President Obama's budget would generate deficits averaging almost $1 trillion a year over the next decade, according to the latest congressional estimates, significantly worse than predicted by the White House just last month.

The Congressional Budget Office figures, released Friday, predict Obama's budget will produce $9.3 trillion worth of red ink over 2010-2019. That's $2.3 trillion worse than the White House predicted in its budget.

Democratic political consultant Hank Morris and a top lieutenant to disgraced former New York Comptroller Alan Hevesi were indicted Thursday in a scheme to trade lucrative investments in the state pension fund for more than $30 million in kickbacks, gifts and campaign contributions, the New York Post reported.

The 123-count indictment against Morris and former state pension-fund manager David Loglisci stems from a two-year pay-to-play probe by state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.

The Greenbrier has struggled with the poor economy and lost $35 million in 2008.

Democrats blame each other on AIG bonuses

a tale of political intrigue and Democratic infighting that could threaten the re-election chances of a top senator and the credibility — if not the career — of one of President Obama's top advisers.

White House Breaks Ground for 'Kitchen Garden'

Michelle Obama and a group of 26 elementary schoolchildren began work Friday on a vegetable garden that is on the White House grounds.

Crops to be planted in the coming weeks on the 1,100-square-foot, L-shaped patch near the fountain on the South Lawn include spinach, broccoli, various lettuces, kale and collard greens, assorted herbs and blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.
