Legal Question

Were the legal rights of the Somalis involved in this overseas contingency advised of their rights as criminals? Since the fourth Somali was captured in Somali waters--near the shore, is it lawful for the FBI to hold him and interrogate him? Has any one checked with the UN or France about protecting the rights of the Somalis?

I'm concerned about the tenor of voices in the pirate street. Certainly there are more moderate, peace-loving pirates. How will they perceive this?
