Well it looks like Mike Huckabee forgot to read the news or watch CNN the past few days.
Because he does not seem to realize he can't win, so he keeps winning.
By more than two to one.

Re: Huckabee wins big
Take a look at the delegates Sherm and the remaining states. It is mathmatically impossible for Huckabee to get the 1,191 needed for the nomination.

Re: Huckabee wins big
The question is can he prevent McCain from getting a majority.
And the answer is I don't know.
But I am sure some of you guys know.
So hopefully you will explain to the rest of us.
Looks to me like the Republicans have a case of what they call "buyers' remorse."

Re: Huckabee wins big
There is a very small chance that he can prevent McCain from getting the 1,191 needed.
I think Virginia is the key. If he can some how pull Virginia out of the hat then he should stay in and fight until McCain gets 1,191. Yes, that will hurt McCain and the Republicans but you never know. He could short McCain, get to a brokered convention, take Mitt's on the second round and get enough of McCain's pledged delegates to switch and steal the nomination.
Of course, if it goes to a second round, everyone's in play including Mitt and possibly the ONE the consertatives are longing for...

Re: Huckabee wins big
Well Aaron you know politics makes for strange bedfellows.
Especially with republicans.
(and I am not talking about Craig and Foley, I am serious ok... )
But lots of republicans dont want McCain so they may try to use Huck to block him still.
Even though they dont want Huck, cause they figure they can drop him like a used condom once they get McCain out of the picture.
Trust me Aaron you have not been around as long as I have and I know how devious and underhanded this bunch can be.
They have no conscience.
And no sympathy.
Even if the guy did spend 5 yrs being tortured while they dodged the draft they will have no problem trashing him.
Especially with republicans.

Oh, I think I do Sherm. They're almost as bad as democrats.
I am quite sure there are those in the Republican party that pray daily for a brokered convention so they can draft their man. And no, he hasn't been out on the campaign trail...yet.
