The "racist" and "stupid" cop: should not drink beer with the prez and prof. Rather, he should slur them, not apologize, and then invite them for coffee and donuts.

Gates is nothing but a two-bit racist. He was born in Piedmont, WV by the way. As far as I'm concerned he's an embarrassment to the State.
Here is a sample of true Gates " As always, whitey now sits in judgment of me, preparing to cast my fate. It is your decision either to let me blow with the wind as a nonentity or to encourage the development of self. Allow me to prove myself."
After being drug through the mud for doing his job, Officer Crowley should have told both black bro's, Obama and Gates, to screw themselves right along with the media.
If I were a cop where Gates lives he would need not ever call for help, because I wouldn't go. I'm not going to risk my life and limb to insulted by a racist son of 1,000 fathers like him.

After being drug through the mud for doing his job, ...................
For doing his job? What "job"?
Once Gates established that he was in his own home, he owed no further "cooperation" to the police officer. If the officer did not like Gates' attitude, then the officer should have exited the home and gone on about his business and left Gates alone.
If what Gates did was really that serious, why were those charges dismissed the next day?

If what you say is so then it would stand to reason that Obamy wouldn't be backpeddling like he's trying to defuse the whole matter. He and his bro' would instead be playing it for all the racist mileage he could get. Yet he's not. Personally I think there is far more to the story than we've been told by the media. Especially, after Crowley threatened to sue Gates for deformation of Charactor.
You asked why the charges were dropped. I think it is because the prosecuting attorney is a coward.

So a guy does not have a right to be uncooperative with authority in his own home?
Obama shot off his mouth when he should have left the matter to the folks in Cambridge. That is what politicians do- talk too much.
But that does not mean that Gates did anything wrong that night in his own home. And according to the officer, all Gates was doing was being "un-cooperative". But again, a guy- at least a white guy- has a right to be uncooperative in his own home.

And as I said, both Gates and Obamy are two of biggest racists in the US. I really think that Crwoley was set up. I think that once Gates realized what had happened he did all in his power to aggravate the situation so he could use it for his hateful venom. I also think Obama shot off his mouth to make political point, which backfired. I also think dfending a hate monger like Gates or a racist boob like Obama is the act of a complete fool.

Well, I have been foolish about a lot of things in my life.
But I am not defending Obama. And it is not defending Gates to say that- once his residencey at that home had been established- that he had a right to be as uncooperative as he cared to be with a police officer in his own home, and that he should not have been arrested for doing so.
