Great Backyard Bird Count

We are very excited to participate in this event once again. If you
haven't done it, give it a try. Perhaps you'll become addicted to bird
watching if you aren't already.

This event signals spring to me now. Warmer days are around the
corner.

Steph, I have a 12" by 14" bird feeder about 4' outside my window but I don't bother counting the birds.

Those birds have "spies" and a "communication network", ya know.

When they clean it out, ........ ya won't see a bird anywhere. But when Violet re-stocks it, I guarantee you that within 5 minutes or less there will be 3 or 4 show up. And more often than not, different species.

Maybe they hear the "sliding" of that patio door as a "call to dinner".
