Do you think that Obama could declare a state of emergency (health or wealth causes), suspend the US Constitution and declare martial law?

I think Obama and the democrats and RINOs in congress will do whatever is necessary to retain their hold on power. Of course I thought Clinton would do whatever he could also.

Keli,

It wasn't my intention, but I accidentally closed this poll. I didn't realize that is what I was about to do, and I don't know how to fix it. I'd like to note my vote of "oui" is not included in the tally shown above.

Amazing.

You don't think the republicans would do the same? And you accuse sherm and ziggy of partisanship.

So even you can understand. RINO, (Republican in name only) This is what the entire republcian party has become, leftist light.

What is amazing is your complete hatred of peoiple with opposing views to yours.

Yes. Because that post was filled with such vitriol. I understand "RINO". I just didn't realize that you viewed the entire GOP that way.

I doubt Ohio County would agree with you as we just had a discussion of this not long ago.

I did sort of go on and on about the dearth of centrists in the republican party, didn't I? Maybe I forgot about Charlie Crist and George W. Bush...

I don't want to speak for Cato but I do have a problem with the elected officials of the republican party. After forty years in the wilderness the party gained control of both houses of Congress in 1994. I do seem to remember a huge list of earmarks, capitulation on spending projects, graft, corruption, and a burgeoning deficit. I'm not sure if that constitutes "leftist light" but I don't consider it an acceptable way to run a household budget, a business, or a government.

But you were right to call me out on it.
