Obama is a joke, a coward, and possibly a traitor. It is a sad day indeed when any politican, republican or democrat, uses or misuses the lives of the men and women in the military for political gain.

The U.S. can't "walk away" from its effort in Afghanistan, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) emphasized Friday.
Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has been skeptical of recommendations for a troop surge in Afghanistan, but maintained that the U.S. cannot simply abandon its efforts in the reason.
(Did you know that John Kerry served in Vietnam?)

I think everyone here knows I stronly favor bringing our troops home. If it were up to me that's exactly what I would do.
That said, the current situation is worse than sending additional troops. He needs to make up his freaking mind and not leave the soldiers we have in Afghanistan to languish without adequate numbers and equipment. His inability to just make a damn decision is costing Americans their lives.

Obama is probably waiting for Chris Matthews to take a Poll so that he will know what to do.

Unless Iraq is to be an open-ended military venture after the mold of Germany, Japan and Korea, we need to get out of and fast. Before we do, we should force retribution for rebuilding their oil infrastructure but then we need to leave post haste.
Nouri al-Maliki has already made his allegiance known as the majority of his travels are on Iranian state jets, his corrupt government is set and pose the biggest threat to peace and all we're doing is preventing the inevitable, an anti-American Shiite takeover of the country once were gone.
And in the process were wasting American tax dollars and risking American lives for no other reason then to postpone the inevitable. It's simply not worth it any longer.
And in Afghanistan, we need to reduce our forces to what is needed to combat Al Qeada, which would be a battalion or two of special forces units specifically trained to work with local chieftains supported by Naval air and artillery that have the capability to launch and destroy terrorist training sites.
This mission should not be restricted to Afghanistan though. We should be doing this in any and every country that host terrorism. Other then that, we need to pull ALL of our troops home. And if that is cutting and running, it’s time to cut and run.
